Announcing the 2026 Festival!
Get ready for one of the most exciting celebrations of queer storytelling in film — the Hollywood Queer Short Film Festival (HQSFF) returns October 2–4, 2026! Held at the historic Hudson Theater in Los Angeles, this festival is a platform where LGBTQIA+ filmmakers and audiences come together to uplift community voices, explore diverse experiences, and celebrate the art of short cinema.
Visibility Is Resistance
At its core, HQSFF embraces a powerful mission: queer visibility is resistance. In a cultural moment where queer stories continue to be marginalized, this festival stands as a bold affirmation that queer art matters — and that queer stories should be seen, heard, and honored.
